PM-KISAN Yojana 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must be an Indian citizen and a farmer who owns cultivable land, with their name duly recorded in the official land records of the respective State or Union Territory. This scheme is primarily targeted at small and marginal farmers; furthermore, to receive benefits through 'Direct Benefit Transfer' (DBT), the applicant is required to possess a valid Aadhaar number linked to their bank account. Additionally, to avail of the benefits, the farmer must complete the e-KYC process. However, certain categories of individuals such as institutional landholders, income tax payers, government employees (excluding certain lower-rung staff), and professionals like doctors, engineers, and lawyers are not eligible to receive benefits under this scheme.

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi 2026 Application Process 

The application process for the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) can be completed either online or offline. Farmers are required to visit the official PM-KISAN portal and select the "New Farmer Registration" option; there, they must provide their Aadhaar number, basic personal details, and land information, and subsequently submit the application form following verification. Applicants may also register through 'Common Service Centers' (CSCs) or by visiting their nearest agriculture office in person. Upon the successful submission of the application and verification of documents, eligible farmers are enrolled under this scheme, and financial assistance is deposited directly into their Aadhaar-linked bank accounts through 'Direct Benefit Transfer' (DBT).

WCD Puducherry 618 Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Recruitment 2025

The Department of Women & Child Development, Puducherry has released a notification for the recruitment of 618 posts of Anganwadi Workers (344 posts) and Anganwadi  Helpers  (274 posts) under the Samshak Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 project.
